Commercial break

Christmas is fast approaching. The French are therefore looking for good plans to make gifts. But sometimes it’s not easy to know if a cheap product is a good investment. In this article, we’ll see if the most affordable food processors are worth it. Don’t worry, we’ll tell you all about it. Are you ready ?

What is Lidl’s Monsieur Cuisine robot worth?

The French will celebrate Christmas in just over two weeks. So time for the last shopping for them. A few days ago, Lidl put its star robot back on sale: the Monsieur Cuisine Smart. The latter is available for 429 euros € and even for 359 euros, for those who subscribe to Lidl Plus. That is much less than the 1,399 euros for the TM6, the latest Thermomix. But is it really that effective? This is the question we ask ourselves.

So despite its low price, Lidl’s robot has a wide range of functions. It specifically allows it cooking, chopping, kneading or even from B’ oil. And what else we can tell you is that it also has the Google Assistant. It allows you to use voice commands and even a video screen to track recipes. Not bad, right?

More efficient than the Thermomix?

If Monsieur Cuisine isn’t bad, another brand will stand out. Indeed, for less than 500 euros you can also go for the Moulinex Click&Cook robot. The latter is just as efficient as Lidl’s robot. And it has only minor flaws. We think in particular of an impractical lid and too high a power for browning. But these two are clearly not at the level of the Thermomix.

For example, the Thermomix is more powerful. With 1,500 W compared to the 1,000 W of Monsieur Cuisine or Moulinex. It also has a more accurate scale. But it should be noted that the most expensive devices are especially notable for the multiplication of modes. Or the available accessories or recipes. But is it really essential? It is not certain. When writing Objeko, we prefer a robot that does its job without artifice. And you?

Watch out for scams

There are many good plans for Christmas. However, you have to be very careful with the robots you see. Especially to be a bit tempting for products you don’t know or published by a dubious site. Models that are resold online, such as on Amazon, can also see their prices go up. And not a few euros. We are talking about more than 100 euros. That’s your choice.
